The Alliance

“…. coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success….” Henry Ford

Communities are strongest when they are united. When residents, businesses, community organizations and government are aligned in their efforts, things that seemed near impossible can be accomplished. C.A.R.E. prioritizes bringing resources together in a way that benefits everyone involved. That’s what the “Alliance” is all about…. putting our existing resources to use in a manner that maximizes the benefits of the outcome.

You may be wondering just how we intend to do that.

Well, we at C.A.R.E. have put considerable thought into that. We realized that many “economic development” projects seem to leave out those that it should matter to most…. the community. Being a native to New Mexico, C.A.R.E.s founder has an affinity for the state and those that call it home. In our rural communities we see land-marks and historical structures fall into disrepair. which detracts from the beauty of this land that we all care so much about. C.A.R.E. actively seeks these “projects” out and formulates a plan to restore them to their original stature using existing and underutilized local resources. The people, the businesses, the other organizations within our community, are the ones we seek to task with these endeavors. Projects, which will be selected via social media polls (more on that in the “Projects” page), will use local contractors, vendors, suppliers and labor. If there are shortages of skilled workers, we want to offer training (more on that in the “Training” page). In return, we get a more experienced workforce, restored parts of our history and a renewed sense of pride in the place we call home.

These projects will create opportunity for our local businesses, keep more of our dollars local and improve the tourism industry. All this while we get to know one another and make our community more attractive than it already is! Now, That’s a WIN!
